Replace Missing Staples & U-Shaped Clips on Louvers or Control Rods

Plantation Shutter Staples (also called Shutter Clips or U-Shaped Clips) secure the connection between the louver and the control rod. When these go missing or break, louvers lose their tilt function. These 3/16" crown staples are the right replacement for most standard plantation shutters.

The "crown" is the outside width of the staple. The length refers to how long the two legs are. Measure an existing staple to choose the right size.
